On March 18 at 11:00 a.m., American Legion Post 498 in Port Isabel generously presented a much-needed donation of $1,000 to the Laguna Vista Volunteer Fire Department. Contributions such as this play a vital role in supporting our mission, allowing us to supplement municipal funding and acquire essential equipment needed to provide a safer and more cost-effective service to our community.
Also recognized at the event were the Salvation Army and the Port Isabel Police Department. In small communities throughout the Laguna Madre area, it is imperative that we cooperate and collaborate to achieve our shared goal of ensuring public safety.
We are sincerely grateful for this generous support. While words cannot fully express our appreciation, please know that this donation will have a meaningful and lasting impact on our ability to serve and protect the citizens of Laguna Vista.
